What about combining a rare event with a rare event.
So you wait for 2 of the same dozen to hit, then bet against the next 3 spins with the corresponding 1-2-3 patern.
Ex:

2 (now bet using a 2-1-3 or 2-3-1)
3 (win)

3 (now bet using 3-2-1 or 3-1-2)
